DaughterIt is a given that we are all proud of our children. We watch them grow from babies into young adults and experience every milestone in between. We share ups and downs, good times and bad. Watching them grow into personalities and seeing them handle social and academic pressures and situations. We make suggestions and criticize at times, always doing what we think is best for them and their future.

Daughter Ice creamI am always trying to work on my own flaws and actions. I usually have an ideal vision of how things would be if I handled myself in the way that I planned or knew was correct. I often ask myself how a situation would have been better if I just remained calm, cool and collected or responded differently. We have all have our moments and strive to be better as we grow.

When I think of a role model of who I admire, I think of my daughter. She always has a pleasant disposition, is kind, patient, and caring. She always strives to do her best, handles disappointment with grace, and takes everything in stride. Even under pressure she doesn’t get cranky or short on patience. She is always open to go somewhere fun and try new things. I try to take her actions and follow by example. I am so proud to have a daughter that I aspire to be like when I grow up…
